Meet the Principal
Welcome to Donald J. Meyer Elementary School!
Linda Diaz-Sepulveda
Born and raised in San Jose, CA, I attended San Jose State University. Upon receiving my BA in Child Development, I headed to the Central Valley where I earned my multiple subject teaching credential at CSU Stanislaus in Turlock, CA. I began my career in the Central Valley as a Reading Coach followed by teaching grades K-3, 7th, 8th and Special Education. During this time, I attended Fresno Pacific University where I earned my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. With my education in place, I continue to serve the children and families of the Central Valley. After teaching for 10 years, I received my Administrative credential at CSU Stanislaus. I moved on to be a Vice Principal and Principal for both elementary and middle schools. In 2017, I moved back to the Bay Area with my family, continuing my principalship and now serving the communities of San Jose.
My journey in education began with a passion for early literacy and fostering a love of learning through reading and writing. Over time my passions have grown to provide nurturing and inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive and meet their potential. With over 20 years of service in education, I am honored to serve as the new principal of Meyer Elementary School. I am committed to building strong partnerships with families, staff, and the community to ensure our students receive the support and resources they need to succeed. Together, we will celebrate diversity, promote equity, and create a safe and inclusive school environment.
