Dress Code

Please make sure your child is wearing his or her uniform everyday.  Students who come to school not in uniform may be required to wear a loaner uniform.  Questions regarding the uniform policy should be directed to the school office, (408) 928-8200.

Uniforms help:

  • With school safety—intruders are easily identified.
  • Eliminate gang identification
  • Remove peer pressure
  • Make school clothes more economical
  • Build school pride and spirit

Uniform Guidelines

Pants, shorts and skirts:
Navy blue only.  No emblems or designs.  Shorts and skirts must be no shorter than 3 inches above the knee.  Pants should hang at the waist.  No sagging!  No tight-fitting or spandex pants, shorts, or skirts.

Shirts:
White or light boue collared shirts only.  No emblems or designs. No spandex, tank tops, or tops that show a bare midriff or back, strapless, halter or off the shoulder tops or dresses.

Sweatshirts and T-shirts:
School sweatshirts and T-shirts only.

Jackets and Coats:
Absolutely no red.  All other colors are okay.

Shoes:
No red, no flip flop sandals or house slippers.  Must be enclosed—No sandals of any kind.

Socks:
Any color except red.

Accessories:
No bandanas, hankerchiefs.  No red hair ties, scarves, belts, shoe laces, etc.  No baseball caps. 

Backpacks:
No red.  No writing on the backpack other than the student’s name.
